Prior to joining PEER, Isabelle served as a Trial Attorney for the Department of Justice’s Tax Division, where she represented the United States in affirmative and defensive civil tax litigation in U.S. District Courts and U.S. Bankruptcy Courts. In 2024, Isabelle received an Outstanding Attorney Award at the Tax Division. She clerked for the Honorable William K. Sessions III at the U.S. District Court for the District of Vermont and for the Honorable Stephen A. Higginson at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Isabelle earned her J.D. from Stanford Law School, with highest pro bono distinction, and her B.A. from Middlebury College.
