Kyla Bennett, director of science policy and Northeast and mid-Atlantic director at Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility, cautioned the smaller crowd that just because something may be within the legal limits for PFAS, it doesn’t mean it’s safe.
“Every lab report that I have seen, whether it was done by an NGO or an individual citizens group or even industry, if the tests are properly done, every single one I’ve seen has PFAS,” she said.
