“Donna Shaver, chief of the Division of Sea Turtle Science and Recovery at Padre Island National Seashore, filed a complaint against Eric Brunnemann, the PINS superintendent, for his review of her department which plans on decreasing funding.
Shaver, who is under a gag order by Brunnemann, turned to a legal organization, Public Employees for Environmental Responsibilities (PEER), to represent her and help file the complaint on July 16.”
