“The former head of EPA’s Office of Children’s Health Protection has filed a whistleblower complaint with the agency asking to be restored to her former post.
Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility, which is representing Etzel, said she is working as a biologist in the Office of Water, with “no contact” with children’s health. She is also “not allowed to work on prevention of lead poisoning,” according to the advocacy group.”
