“The EPA can avoid a lawsuit seeking records on a delayed interactive PFAS map after reaching a settlement with Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility, a federal court in Washington, D.C., ruled Friday.
PEER sought timelines for the release of the map for identifying local sources of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances known as “forever chemicals,” according to the complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. The Environmental Protection Agency said it would release the map in February 2019, but it had yet to do so, the group said.”
