As the current Trump administration enters its second year, our work continues to unfold at a rapid pace.
One growing area of PEER’s work is protecting the free speech rights of public employees. To explore this issue, we invite you to join us on January 29th at 2pm Eastern Time for an important and interactive webinar, Public Employees, Free Speech, and the Rise of Authoritarianism: Why it Matters for the Environment.
Speakers will include PEER attorneys and clients, as well as the Director of the First Amendment Law Clinic at the University of Illinois College of Law and a former Minnesota Pollution Control Agency employee.
We hope you can join us to learn why freedom of speech in government is critical to protecting the environment, public health, and public lands, as well as our democracy and the rule of law.
Onward!
Tim Whitehouse
Executive Director
P.S. We rely in great part on individual donors to support our work. If you would like to make a donation to support our work defending free speech and government employees, you may do so here.
