Protecting our environment and public health has never been more urgent. The air we breathe, the water we drink, and the ecosystems that sustain life are under increasing strain from pollution, climate change, and political neglect. When these systems are damaged or mismanaged, the consequences ripple outward—to our communities, our food supply, and our ability to adapt to a changing climate.

Yet the greatest threats often come from within the very institutions charged with protecting us. Political interference, corporate pressure, and chronic underfunding have eroded science-based decision-making inside government agencies.
