PEERMail | Our Gratitude and Commitment this Thanksgiving

Tags:

During this Thanksgiving week, all of us at PEER want to thank government employees throughout the country for their dedication to serving the public.

Since I came to PEER over five years ago, PEER has been honored to support the work of government employees, including chemists, biologists, geologists, lawyers, law enforcement officials, planning board members, sanitation workers, professors, and teachers.

Our non-partisan civil service is one of the foundational elements of our democracy. The U.S. civil service system helps keep a check on corruption and cronyism and creates the space for workers to provide unvarnished advice to our nation’s political leaders. Government employees work hard to support the Constitution and uphold the laws of the United States.

During these difficult times, PEER stands committed to continuing our work protecting public employees who protect the environment, and we would like to thank them for their service to this country.

Warmest regards,

Tim Whitehouse
Executive Director

PS – Stay tuned for our charming and light-hearted #GivingTuesday email series. We hope you will enjoy it and consider supporting PEER on this International Day of Giving. Thank you!
