Our Goal

At PEER, we are committed to protecting America’s public lands from industrial overreach. Right now, these lands—our remote deserts, vibrant ecosystems, and culturally significant areas—are under siege.

The Problem

Sage-grouse, desert tortoises, and countless other species rely on the unspoiled habitats that this project will fragment. Sage-grouse, already under immense pressure, face even greater challenges as their breeding grounds are put at risk by this development. Endangered species like the desert tortoise will have their critical habitats cut by miles of transmission lines, leaving them vulnerable to predators and further habitat degradation.

The Solution

We are at a crucial crossroads. PEER is preparing to challenge the several transmission and mega renewal energy projects in order to defend the wildlife, wilderness, and cultural heritage that these lands protect. Your support can make a difference.

Your contribution will help fund our fight to protect these species, uphold bedrock environmental laws, and stop the unnecessary industrialization of our public lands.

Together, we can ensure that future generations inherit a world rich in biodiversity and natural beauty, not a legacy of destruction.
