Agency ‘Hemorrhaging’ Taxpayer Dollars — Watchdog

From: Greenwire

“A government watchdog is criticizing the Chemical Safety Board for lacking transparency and spending hundreds of thousands of dollars in a personnel case involving a former managing director of the agency. CSB will hold a closed-door meeting tomorrow on a “legal services support contract” to a law firm, according to Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility. PEER says the agency is “hemorrhaging a lot of taxpayer money” on the case, which centers on the removal of former CSB Managing Director Daniel Horowitz. PEER is representing Horowitz, who is fighting his dismissal.”
