The Old Spanish Trail is the focus of a new lawsuit issued by the Public Employees for Environment Responsibility (PEER).
This trail is among the National Historic Trails.
“They are historic routes of national significance,” said John Hiscock, Old Spanish Trail Advocate.
The Old Spanish Trail spans 2,700 miles across Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, and California. It was used as a trade route between Santa Fe and Los Angeles from 1829 to 1848.
