“EPA also agreed to search both internal communications among employees and communications with third parties for any studies attached to emails. The agency plans to complete the search this week and report back to PEER. “EPA estimates that there will be 5,000 to 7,000 emails that require further review after applying the agreed search terms,” the agency told the court. EPA and PEER, which has accused the agency of stalling to avoid having to admit in court that it has no records backing Pruitt’s claims, agreed to provide another update to the court by Aug. 10.”
