Exemptions to Disclosure

Exempt records include:

  • Hospital trade secrets;
  • Intellectual property records

Access Rights

Any person may request records, and they must be given at cost within a reasonable period of time.

Destruction of Public Records

ORC ANN. § 149.381 prohibits the destruction or damage of records.All records are the property of the public office concerned and shall not be removed, destroyed, mutilated, transferred, or otherwise damaged or disposed of, in whole or in part, except as provided by law.
