Tim Caverly is a Maine author who has written and published twelve books about Maine. He is a member of the New England Outdoor Writers Association, a brother of the Nollesemic Lodge #205 of the Free Masons, and ‘Son of the American Legion’ Post 80 in Millinocket. Tim is a graduate of the University of Maine at Machias.
In 1999 he retired from his position as Regional (Park) Supervisor of the Allagash Wilderness Waterway for Maine’s Department of Conservation. After retirement he worked several years as the Maine Director of Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility. Several of Tim’s short stories have been printed in newspapers, magazines, and outdoor journals. He is a columnist for the outdoor paper The Maine Sportsman and often contributes to the Bangor Daily News.
