“EPA’s inspector general is probing the agency’s review of hot-button toxic substances, including so-called forever chemicals.
The Office of Inspector General said yesterday it will initiate an inquiry based on a hotline complaint regarding risk assessments carried out under the Toxic Substances Control Act.
The group Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER) brought forward the allegations last week, calling on OIG to investigate.”
