“A former senior Bureau of Land Management official and the results of a recent anonymous survey of current and recently retired BLM employees reveal that the bureau’s relocation plan completed last year left staffers demoralized and uncertain about its future.
The recently completed telephone survey by Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility, which was summarized during a webinar today with reporters, also cited “political influence and corruption” among the bureau’s leadership as reasons for the “low morale.””
